Who doesn’t love lazy Saturday mornings? We started doing French Toast when Noah was really little and now when he sees it at a restaurant his first response is to question if theirs will be as good. Lol. Despite how much he enjoys it, this recipe is very simple.
- Use your favorite bread. I like Texas Toast for this. About 6 pieces.
- 5 large eggs
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- Sprinkle cinnamon
Whisk your eggs together, add vanilla and cinnamon, We like to use a griddle for this since you can do numerous pieces at once.
Use butter to coat the griddle. Once it is heated to 350 degrees dip the toast in your egg mixture. Place on the griddle. Check often to see if it needs to be flipped. Another thing I like about this griddle is the easy clean up.
I like to heat up some maple syrup to go over the French Toast. Serve with strawberries or your favorite fruit. Let me know what you think! As always I would love to hear from you.
